Watched Beastly earlier. I admit, I was waiting for this since last year. It was supposed to air last July 2010 but due to Zac Efron’s Charlie St. Cloud movie, it was pushed back. I don’t even know why. 

Anyway, so my brother came from work and asked if I want to watch it? Kelangan pa bang itanong yan? LOL. Of course. Haha.

When we were at Ayala, we decided to go for the first full show since it will be 20 minutes away for the movie to start. I bought the tickets, bought chips, blabla.

Then we went inside the movies. We waited so long, more or less about 30 minutes. Then there’s this message on the screen. “The End, of 5 minutes of waiting…” WHAAAT? 5 minutes, are kidding me? Our snack was already consumed even before the movie started. That’s how long we waited. 

So finally, the movie started. I find how each angle/shot/whatever-it-is-called different. Like close ups whatever idk. 

Kyle (Alex Pettyfer) and his aaaabbbbss was the first pretty little thing to appear on the screen, doing pull ups and push ups. I was like holding myself not to scream. LOL. Then there’s Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen) who was btw creepy and pretty at the same time. And there’s Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens). I won’t go into details. But the story was like, Beauty and the Beast. HAHA. The story was there’s this guy (Kyle), so full of himself that Kendra wants him to teach a lesson so he cursed Kyle. He has only one year to find somebody to love him despite him being so ugly and all. Then there’s Lindy. You know what happens next. LOL

I find Vanessa really attractive. Yesyes. She’s so pretty in the movie.

And Neil Patrick Harris was still like Barney. He was still friggin’ hilarious. HAHA.

And Mary-Kate Olsen. I can’t even. She’s so asdfghjkl 

And and.. Alex.. Pettyfer…

/dies. 

HAHA. Overall, the movie was okay. The plot was, let’s just say, I’ve seen it several times. lol. I know this is just a modern re-tell of Beauty and the Beast. lol

One thing though, I was looking forward to a great kissing scene, but they disappointed me. Tsk tsk. Bad.

Oh my word! It’s so mahal. 400 bucks! :( But of course, my brother was the one who paid the ticket. HAHA. I can say it was worth it because it is really clear anf the seats were so comfy plus it comes with a popcorn and a postcard that looked exactly like the poster. HAHA.
